These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) prescribe the conditions, etc., for the use of the exhibition and event ticket sales website (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”) operated by Artizon Museum (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”).Please read these Terms prior to using this Website, and only use this Website if you consent to these Terms in full.In addition, the Museum may amend these Terms without notice, so please check the content of these Terms on each occasion that you use the Website.

Article 1: Application

  1. These Terms shall be applied to all relationships relating to the use of this Website between the customer using this Website and the Museum.
  2. By using this Website, the customer shall be regarded as having consented to these Terms in full.

Article 2: Establishment of Ticket Purchasing Agreement

  1. If the payment information, etc., entered by the customer when using this Website is incorrect, the application will be invalid.
  2. The Museum shall not bear any responsibility for input errors by the customer or duplicate applications made due to communication environment defects, etc., while using this Website.In addition, the Museum shall not issue refunds of the ticket price in such cases.
  3. There may be cases where, due to communication line congestion or unforeseen problems with computer systems, etc., there are significant delays in confirming or receiving a notification regarding the success of a ticket purchase, or where this cannot be confirmed at all.
  4. The Museum shall not bear any responsibility to the customer and third parties for the success or failure of a ticket purchase prescribed in the preceding paragraph.
  5. The types and prices of tickets that may be purchased by the customer through the use of this Website shall be as described on the sale page.However, ticket types and prices are subject to change without notice in accordance with the circumstances of the Museum.
  6. A ticket purchasing agreement shall be established at the time the ticket purchase procedures on this Website have been completed.Please note that the time the purchase procedures have been completed refers to when a notification to this effect is shown on the purchase screen on this Website.However, this shall not apply if a notification is received from the credit card company specified by the customer to the effect that card authorization has not been successful.
  7. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if any fraudulent or inappropriate conduct has taken place in relation to the use of this Website, the Museum may revoke or cancel the purchasing agreement, or take other appropriate measures.
  8. The Museum shall not bear any responsibility if an email from the Museum is not received, delivered to the wrong address, delayed, etc., due to any malfunction, including the registration of incorrect email address information.
  9. The sale of the tickets offered on this Website may end at the time the planned number of tickets have been sold, even if still during the purchase period.However, the sale of such tickets may be resumed in cases such as where the event period has been extended.
  10. If a minor intends to use this Website, they may use this Website upon having obtained the prior consent of their legal guardian (parent, etc.).

Article 3: Ticket Changes, Cancellation, and Cooling-Off Period

A ticket for which a purchasing agreement prescribed in the preceding Article has been established may not be changed or canceled for any reason.Please note that a cooling-off period shall not apply for the tickets offered on this Website.


Article 4: Payment of Ticket Price

  1. The customer shall use a payment method prescribed in the chart based on the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
  2. The payment method may not be changed after the establishment of a purchasing agreement based on Article 1.
  3. The Museum may add or change ticket prices, etc., or change the payment method, by either notifying the customer in advance or making the customer aware by another method deemed appropriate by the Museum.

Article 5: Ticket Issuing Method and Admission Method

  1. The customer may only enter the exhibition venue, etc., if a member of the Museum’s staff has successfully scanned the QR code displayed on a ticket purchased through the use of this Website or the QR code displayed in the URL stated in the purchase completion notification email (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Admission QR Code”) using a dedicated scanner.However, if a malfunction has occurred on this dedicated scanner, the admission procedures shall be performed in accordance with the instructions of the staff members present at the venue.
  2. The Customer may enter the venue by either printing the Admission QR Code using a printer at home, etc., and bringing this to the venue, or by displaying the Admission QR Code on the screen of their smartphone or other electronic device so that the Admission QR Code can be scanned using the dedicated scanner.Please note that the Exhibition Passport, which grants multiple entries to the Museum, cannot be printed.
  3. The customer will be unable to enter the venue if they arrive at the venue without their printed Admission QR Code due to loss, etc., or if the Admission QR Code cannot be displayed on an electronic device due to not bringing the device, a dead battery, or any other reason.
  4. The Museum shall not bear responsibility for inconvenience caused to the customer as a result of a malfunction on their electronic device or the loss of the purchase completion notification email, etc.

Article 6: Admission QR Code, Etc., Ticket Management Responsibility

  1. If a third party visits the exhibition venue with the same QR code as the Admission QR Code held by another customer, admission shall only be granted to the person with the ticket that is first scanned by the dedicated scanner at the venue entrance.
  2. The customer, in the event of learning that their Admission QR Code has been stolen or used by a third party, or of a possibility that this may be the case, shall immediately contact the Museum, and in addition, shall act in accordance with any instructions given by the Museum.
  3. The customer shall manage their Admission QR Code (including but not limited to reprinted and photocopied tickets) at their own responsibility.The Museum shall not reissue an Admission QR Code, and shall not bear any responsibility for disputes, inconvenience, damage, etc., that is incurred due to a third party having used an Admission QR Code, including in the case of paragraph 1, regardless of the presence or absence of intent or negligence on the part of the customer.

Article 7: Prohibitions

  1. The customer shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Website.If the Museum, another customer, or other third party has incurred damage due to the customer having performed any of the following acts, the customer shall compensate for such damage.
    1. Purchasing a ticket with the intent to resell the ticket to a third party, or to provide the ticket to a third party for resale;
    2. Reselling or trying to resell a ticket to a third party, or reselling or trying to resell a ticket via an auction or an online ticket auction, regardless of their purpose;
    3. Any act that violates these Terms;
    4. Using an electronic device, etc., obtained from another person or through fraudulent means, or fraudulently using a credit card to use this Website;
    5. Providing information that is contrary to the fact, fictitious, or false.
  2. If the Museum has confirmed that an act falls applicable under any of the prohibitions of the preceding paragraph, it may take the action described below.
    1. Invalidate all tickets purchased by the customer who has engaged in a prohibition (regardless of whether such tickets were subject to the violation), and refuse them entry to the exhibition venue, etc.In addition, if the customer has already entered the exhibition venue, etc., through the use of an applicable ticket, the customer may be asked to leave.In such a case, the Museum shall not provide any refund of the ticket price, and shall not bear any responsibility for damage incurred by the customer.
    2. The Museum shall not bear any responsibility for issues relating to tickets purchased by any method other than direct purchase from the Museum.

Article 8: Restrictions on Use

If the Museum has determined that a customer falls applicable or likely falls applicable under any of the following, the Museum may restrict the use by the customer of all or a part of this Website without prior notification or notice.
    1. In the event of having entered false or incorrect information, or having omitted information;
    2. In the event of having caused hindrance to the operation of the Museum or this Website, such as by causing a nuisance to the Museum, other customers, or other third parties;
    3. In the event of having failed to pay the ticket price, having engaged in a prohibition prescribed in Article 7, or having violated any of the provisions of these Terms;
    4. In the event of having damaged the reputation of the Museum or this Website;
    5. In the event of an issue with the sending of emails to the customer due to a reason such as the registered email address not working, or an email server on the customer’s side being unable to receive emails or encountering reception problems;
    6. In other cases where the Museum has determined that allowing the use of this Website would not be appropriate for reasons relating to the operation and management of this Website.

Article 9: Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All intellectual property rights relating to this Website shall be attributable to the Museum.
  2. The customer may not use, reproduce, copy, distribute, or modify, etc., any of the information and images, etc., obtained through the use of this Website, in whole or in part, outside of the range permitted by the Copyright Act and other related laws and regulations, without the consent of the Museum or the rights holder to such information and images, etc.
  3. In the event of an intellectual property-related dispute having arisen between the customer and a third party in the use of this Website, the customer shall resolve this at their own expense and responsibility, and the Museum shall not bear any responsibility.

Article 10: Disclaimer

  1. The customer shall use this Website at their own responsibility, upon having sufficiently understood the content of these Terms; the Museum shall not bear any responsibility for any damage or disadvantage caused to a customer or a third party, including damage to life, body, property, privacy, portrait rights, or other rights, which arises from or in relation to the use or non-use of this Website.
  2. There may be cases where time differences, discrepancies, or disruptions occur in the display and transmission of information posted on this Website due to delays or disruptions caused by human error, etc., when updating the information published on this Website; the Museum shall not bear any responsibility for damage incurred by the customer or a third party as a result of this.
  3. Even in the case of the provision of this Website having been delayed or interrupted, etc., due to the suspension or interruption of this Website or due to other reasons, the Museum shall not bear any responsibility for damage, etc., incurred by a customer or a third party as a result of this.
  4. Even in the case of the use of this Website having been restricted pursuant to Article 8, the Museum shall not bear any responsibility for damage, etc., incurred by a customer or a third party in conjunction with this.
  5. Even in the case of the Museum bearing responsibility due to any reason, the Museum shall bear the liability to compensate solely for direct and ordinary damages actually incurred by the customer, and shall not bear the liability to compensate for special damage, indirect damage, lost profits, or damage caused by the impairment of value, loss of opportunity, or damage to reputation, etc.

Article 11: Handling of Personal Information

The Museum shall carefully manage any entrusted personal information based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and shall not use it for any purpose other than the sale of tickets, admission, and after-sales-related operations.
For other items, the personal information of the user shall be handled based on the separately prescribed Privacy Policy.

Article 12: Other Provisions

Matters not prescribed in these Terms shall be subject to the application of the Terms of Use of the official website managed and operated by the Museum.
