How can I pay for a ticket?




Can I purchase tickets from anywhere other than the Artizon Museum website?

You can purchase tickets at the museum counter or via LAWSON TICKET.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum counter only when online ticket reservations have not sold out.

Purchasing tickets via LAWSON TICKET

*No fee is incurred when purchasing tickets at one of these stores. However, a separate fee is incurred for purchases made via LAWSON TICKET online reservation.

How can I confirm a purchased ticket?

Please click on the link provided in the purchase completion email, and the ticket screen will be displayed. (The subject line of this email states that your online ticket purchase has been completed.)

What should I do if I have not received a purchase completion email?

If you have not received a purchase completion email, it may be due to the following reasons.

Case 1: It may have been delivered to a different folder than the inbox of your email software.
The filtering (automatic sorting) function of your email software may have placed the email into a different folder.
Case 2: The email may have been rejected.
Please configure your email software to accept emails from @visit.artizon.museum.

Can I use an online ticket if I do not have a smartphone?

1. Using a printer, etc. to print out an online ticket from a PC
Even if you do not have a smart phone, you can print out an online ticket and show it for admission.
*Note that it is not possible to print out Exhibition Passports

2. For visitors with no smartphone and no access to a printer
If the online tickets have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the museum.

Do I have to print out the online ticket that I purchased?

For visitors with smart phones
There is no need to print out your ticket.
For admission, just show the ticket screen at the link provided in your purchase completion email.

If you do not have a smartphone
Please print out the ticket reservation screen (the QR code) when making an online reservation.
*Note that it is not possible to print out Exhibition Passports

How many tickets can be purchased in a single order?

Students can purchase tickets for a maximum of 10 people on the website, while members of the general public can purchase tickets for a maximum of 30 people.

Is a group discount available?

There is no group discount.

Are In-Person tickets available?

In-Person ticket may also be purchased at the museum, if the time slot is not full.
However, please note that prices are different when purchasing tickets at the counter.

Is exhibition admission free with a Disability Certificate?

Exhibitions is free for visitors (and one accompanying person) with a Physical Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Certificate, Mental Disability Certificate (Mirairo ID also accepted). Please present your certificate upon entry.

Are there tickets such as passports available that will let me enter the museum year-round?

We offer an “Exhibition Passport” that allows holders to visit exhibitions as many times as they want while the passport is valid.

Am I required to pay an admission fee if I am attending a disabled person?

Entry to the museum is free for disabled persons and their caregivers (one person, as a general rule). Please have your disabled person’s handbook available.
No reservation is necessary in this case.

Are discounts available for senior citizens?

We do not offer a discount for senior citizens.

Are discounts available for students?

Entry is free for university, vocational school, and senior high school students, but a reservation for a time slot is required.
Please present your student ID upon entrance to the museum.
Note that discounts for students in university or graduate school distance learning courses are only available to regular course students (students enrolled in a full course of subjects) who are studying to obtain a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree.

Entry is free to junior high school or younger students. No time slot reservation is required for students of this age.

Canceling and Changing Tickets


Is it possible to cancel a ticket that has already been purchased?

As a general rule, after a purchase has been completed, the ticket cannot be canceled or refunded. However, this does not apply in cases where the museum is temporarily closed at the convenience of the museum.

Is it possible to change the date and time of a ticket that has already been purchased?

It can be changed only once, up to the date of the reservation. You cannot make changes once the day of your scheduled visit has passed.

How can I change the time or date of a ticket that I have reserved?




After purchasing multiple tickets, can I change the date or time of a portion of the tickets?

You can use the “Change the date and time” field on the ticket display screen to change the date and time for some tickets.

Admission Process


What should I do with the ticket screen shown on my smartphone on the day of the event?

After your ticket purchase is completed, an email containing a link will be sent to the email address you provided.
For admission, use your smartphone to show the QR code located at that link.
You can also print out the QR code on paper and bring it with you to the museum.

Do you need advance notice before a group visits the museum?

For visits by groups of 10 people or more, please notify us here in advance. If no notification is received, such groups may not be admitted to the museum when the galleries are crowded.

Can I re-enter galleries?

After leaving the museum via the exit on the fourth floor, you will not be able to re-enter.
You can move freely between the fourth and sixth floors.

Can infants and young children enter the museum?

There is no restriction on entry by infants and young children.
You may be asked to leave a gallery temporarily if your infant or young child is disturbing other visitors. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

How does the museum deal with typhoons and other natural disasters?

We will announce any museum closures in the NEWS section of the Artizon Museum website.

Payment and Receipts


Can receipts be issued?

1. When purchasing at the museum counter
Please ask the staff when purchasing a ticket.

2. When purchasing via the website
Click the ticket confirmation URL listed in the e-mail received when your reservation is confirmed to display a “Print receipt” button at the upper right of the screen. Click the button to display the receipt screen, which you can print out for use.

3. When purchasing via LAWSON TICKET
The procedure for issuing a receipt differs depending on the payment method used. Please see here (*In Japanese) for details.

Can I divide the amount into multiple credit card payments?

No. Purchases must be made with a single payment.

Exhibition Passport


I forgot my password. What should I do?

Open the login screen from “Exhibition Passport confirmation” on the top right of the screen, then click “If you forgot your password” and enter your email address.
We will send you a URL to reset your password to the email address you entered, so please reset your password.

I forgot the email address that I registered. What should I do?

After member registration is complete, an email with the subject “Member registration for Artizon Museum Ticket Site complete” will be sent to you.
Please check the address to which the email was sent.
